Please join The Education Trust, the State Collaborative on Reforming Education (SCORE), Stand for Children, Tennessee, and United Ways of Tennessee on Thursday, April 26 from 2-3 p.m. CDT for an informative webinar on the recently approved Tennessee waiver plan for the No Child Left Behind Act.

The accountability portion of this approved plan presents big changes in the way Tennessee measures school performance, and how it supports and intervenes in low-performing schools and districts. On-the-ground advocates like you may be wondering what these changes actually mean for Tennessee students.

To that end, SCORE is joining forces with The Education Trust, Tennessee Stand for Children, and United Ways of Tennessee to bring you policy expertise on this issue.

We will discuss the accountability portion of the waiver plan to give you insight into how key components have changed. We will also help you identify what needs monitoring to support and protect the interests of Tennessee’s students, throughout the implementation process.
