David Jaffe
Founder & Chair, SubjectToClimate
Though he retired in 2019, Jaffe continues to serve as chair of SubjectToClimate, an organization that provides resources to educators, and FARE, the largest organization supporting food allergy research, education, and advocacy. Prior to his retirement, Jaffe served as chair and CEO of Ascena Retail Group, Inc., a Fortune 500 specialty retailer. In 2020-21, he served as a senior fellow at Harvard’s Advanced Leadership Initiative. He is currently a trustee on the Latin America Region Cabinet of The Nature Conservancy, director of jazz at Lincoln Center, and chair of the Jaffe Food Allergy Institute at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Jaffe also serves on the boards of several private companies. He received an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
