
Dr. Kelvin Bentley
Program Manager, Texas Credentials for the Future; University of Texas System
Dr. Bentley has over 25 years of experience serving in various roles as a faculty member, administrator, and consultant within the field of higher education. He currently serves as the University of Texas System’s first project manager for Texas Credentials for the Future, a new initiative designed to grow and scale access to technical skills for students and alumni across 14 universities and health research institutions. Bentley engages in strategic planning and collaboration with project leads across the University of Texas System in their work related to microcredentialing. In addition, he manages a $1.5 million Beyond Completion Challenge grant from the Strada Education Foundation, which supports the system’s microcredentialing efforts. His work has included support for online learning and various academic innovation initiatives, including leading teams to pilot and scale online tutoring and proctoring in support of online learning programs at two- and four-year colleges and universities.
