Dr. Ricki Gibbs II

Dr. Gibbs is a dynamic education leader who drives innovation and excellence for students from kindergarten through high school through his work with LEAD. Under his leadership, LEAD has expanded opportunities for students to achieve academically, develop as leaders, and prepare for success in college and beyond. Known for his visionary approach and commitment to equity, Gibbs inspires educators and communities to believe in the limitless potential of every child. His work reflects the principle that excellence is not an exception, it is an expectation, and he continues to champion strategies and partnerships that transform schools into thriving centers of learning and opportunity. Gibbs earned his doctorate in education from Lipscomb University and holds a bachelor’s in elementary education from Tennessee State University.
