Dr. Babak Mostaghimi

As a partner at LearnerStudio, Mostaghimi leads systems transformation, AI in education, and learning initiatives. His work is dedicated to ensuring that every young person is inspired and prepared to flourish in life, career, and democracy as an individual and for the common good. Babak began his education career as a fifth-grade teacher and was named a 2008 District Teacher of the Year. He previously led curriculum, instruction, and innovation for Gwinnett County Public Schools near Atlanta, where he developed and scaled a nationally recognized AI and future-readiness learning model, launched multiple innovative schools and learning programs, and co-built an early learning community ecosystem supporting kindergarten readiness. Babak holds an Ed.L.D. and a master’s of public policy from Harvard University as well as a bachelor’s from Johns Hopkins University.
