Each year, the State Collaborative on Reforming Education awards the SCORE Prize to three schools and one district in Tennessee that are leaders in student learning. The winners are announced at the annual SCORE Prize event, which serves as an opportunity for students, educators, families, and community members to come together and celebrate those best practices that are working to raise academic achievement across the state.

This year’s event will feature a musical performance by country singer and songwriter Dustin Lynch, whose hits include “Cowboys and Angels” and “Where It’s At (Yep, Yep).” Lynch is a native of Tullahoma and a proud graduate of Tennessee public schools. He connected with SCORE and the SCORE Prize event through CMT’s Empowering Education program, for which he serves as an active spokesman.
