Dr. Erin Crisp

Assistant Vice President for Learner Success & Workforce Pathways, University of Tennessee System

Dr. Crisp started her career as a middle and high school language arts teacher, followed by a national role in district consulting. In 2012 she transitioned into higher education where her roles involved leading programmatic assessment and accreditation, instructional design, faculty development, and academic program innovation. Following two years as the chief academic officer for an edtech start-up, Crisp joined the University of Tennessee System in 2022 as the inaugural executive director of the Tennessee Grow Your Own Center. With degrees from Indiana University, Towson University, and Indiana Wesleyan University, her research and insights have been published in numerous national reports and peer-reviewed journals.
