Jessica Friedman

Director of Viable Pathways to Prosperity, Chattanooga 2.0

Friedman leads initiatives to connect students from Hamilton County, Tennessee, to high-quality training programs that are linked to good jobs and thriving-wage career paths. Her background has focused on youth career readiness, workforce development, higher education exchange programming, K-12 literacy, and early childhood development. She earned a master’s in sustainable international development from the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University and dual bachelor’s degrees in international development and social change and psychology from Clark University. Friedman served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Philippines, where she worked to improve educational and economic opportunities for children, youth, and families.
