Josh Brown

A lifelong Tennessean, Brown has more than 25 years of experience in government, corporate, and association leadership. Prior to his current role, he spent more than a decade at Pfizer, ultimately serving as vice president of U.S. government relations. In this capacity, he led federal and state advocacy efforts, managed teams of government relations professionals, and built coalitions with policymakers and key organizations. Brown has served on the boards of the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce, the Business Council of Alabama, and Life Science Tennessee (where he also held the position of board chair). Additionally, he was the board president for Nashville-based Youth Encouragement Services, a nonprofit dedicated to serving inner-city youth. In his current role, Brown is committed to advocating for Tennessee’s business and manufacturing sectors, fostering collaboration, and promoting policies that drive innovation and economic success across the state. He holds a bachelor’s in history and political science from Lipscomb University.
