David provides strategic leadership for SCORE’s advocacy, outreach, communications, and engagement endeavors. His professional career spans multiple fields including health care, energy, nonprofit, government, and national politics, bringing a broad understanding of stakeholder perspectives to his work in the field of education reform. Prior to joining SCORE in 2021, David cofounded Undivided Nation, a nonprofit organization focused on unity in America. He also managed public affairs for a publicly traded energy company and served as senior field director for Tennessee US Senator Bob Corker. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee and was a member of the Tennessee Volunteers 1998 National Championship football team.
