Richard leads SCORE’s efforts to analyze data, identify gaps and work with practitioners in the field to develop and learn from innovative pilots. Prior to joining SCORE in 2020, Richard was the director of KIPP Through College with KIPP Memphis Collegiate Schools. Previously, he also worked as a teacher, instructional coach, and principal in Memphis. Richard earned a bachelor’s degree in religious studies from the University of Chicago and an EdD in K-12 education leadership and policy from Peabody College at Vanderbilt University.
