Amrit leads annual budget development, the annual audit, regulatory compliance, payment process, and internal and external financial reporting. He is responsible for researching and implementing process improvements to financial and accounting systems, managing vendor set-up, supporting the development of contracts as well as project and grant budgets. Prior to joining SCORE in 2017, Amrit worked as an accountant at Cure Violence. He earned his master’s degree in accounting and bachelor’s degree in accounting with high honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
