Senior Director of Advocacy

Taylor focuses on engaging community leaders and stakeholders to improve student achievement in Tennessee. A Furman University graduate, he previously served as South Carolina executive director for Governor Jeb Bush’s presidential campaign, acting state director for StudentsFirst South Carolina, and in multiple senior staff roles with South Carolina Governor Nikki R. Haley. In addition, Taylor founded a strategic communications firm providing advocacy, public relations, and crisis communications consulting to business, nonprofit, and political clients throughout the Southeast. A Knoxville native, Taylor is an eighth-generation Tennessean.
