Liza brings a breadth of experience from across Tennessee’s education landscape to her role on our pathways team. Prior to joining SCORE in 2025, Liza was a classroom teacher with Teach For America in Memphis-Shelby County Schools and most recently led initiatives in career awareness and exploration, early postsecondary opportunities, and computer science at the Tennessee Department of Education. She holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from Saint Louis University and a master’s of education in leadership and organizational performance from Vanderbilt University.
