Sam leads strategic partnerships and guides cross-functional planning and execution for SCORE’s research, data, and strategic practice portfolio. He builds and sustains high-impact relationships and drives collaborative projects that position SCORE as a leader in advancing innovative, evidence-based solutions for Tennessee students. Prior to joining SCORE in 2025, Sam worked with Education Resource Strategies (ERS) and at Memphis Grizzlies Prep, a public charter school where he taught math and served as department chair. He holds a master’s degree in education policy and management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a bachelor’s in political economy and urban studies from Rhodes College in Memphis.
