Zac leads SCORE’s strategic research efforts, identifying and studying new and emerging trends that could advance student success in Tennessee and collaborating across SCORE's research and innovation team to apply the findings across the K-12-to-career continuum. Zac previously served as a graduate and postdoctoral fellow at SCORE. Prior to joining SCORE in 2023, Zac earned a bachelor’s degree from UT Knoxville and a master’s degree in higher education, student affairs, and international education policy from the University of Maryland, College Park. He completed a doctorate in educational leadership and policy studies at UT Knoxville in the fall of 2024. Zac is from East Tennessee.
