- Vice President of Finance and Operations. This executive leadership role will steward SCORE’s $16 million-plus annual operating budget, support a staff of 30-plus team members, and manage a wide-ranging portfolio of projects and initiatives. This work includes leading the organization’s finance and accounting function, financial planning, financial reporting, treasury management, the financial aspects of an $8 million annual subgrant portfolio, and supporting the finance and audit committees of the Board of Directors. Other responsibilities: lead the organization’s talent, human resources, legal, and business operations functions, ensuring that SCORE attracts, develops, and retains top talent.
- Senior Director of Pathways. The Senior Director of Pathways leads the development, implementation, and management of SCORE’s pathways portfolio, focusing on high school to postsecondary access and success. This position plays a critical role in shaping strategies that strengthen Tennessee’s postsecondary education system and enhance opportunities for students across the state. The successful candidate brings a deep understanding of postsecondary education, as well as a keen insight into how postsecondary pathways issues are addressed at the state level. Requires building and maintaining strong relationships with key postsecondary leaders, both within institutions and at the state level.
- Senior Director of Communications. SCORE is seeking an experienced communications professional to lead key aspects of our communications strategy in an effort to improve student outcomes in Tennessee. The Senior Director of Communications will develop and execute a multichannel communications, public relations, and media strategy aimed at advancing policies and practices that support SCORE's mission to catalyze transformative change in Tennessee education so that all students can achieve success.
- Policy Analyst. SCORE's Policy Analyst plays a critical role on our Policy and Government Relations team by supporting the development and advancement of our policy agenda across K-12 and postsecondary education. This role is responsible for reviewing research, analyzing legislation, utilizing data, conducting national policy scans, and monitoring Tennessee’s education policy landscape. The ideal candidate will have two years of experience in K-12 and/or higher education policy (experience with foundational policies of assessment, teacher evaluation, and accountability is preferred).
- Digital Communications Manager. The Digital Communications Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping SCORE’s digital presence to amplify its mission to catalyze transformative change in Tennessee education so that all students can achieve success. This role is responsible for developing and executing innovative digital communications and marketing strategies to increase engagement with SCORE’s key audiences and inspire them to take action on its advocacy priorities.
