As director of charter initiatives, Emma leads SCORE’s strategy to support high-quality charter school growth in Tennessee. Before joining SCORE in 2022, Emma worked at LEAD Public Schools in Nashville where she served as a principal, dean of culture, and teacher. A native of Virginia, Emma earned a bachelor’s degree in religious studies from the University of Virginia and a master’s degree in educational leadership from Lipscomb University.
