Learn. Reflect. Inform. Tennessee Educator Fellows do those things and more during a one-year term as part of a cohort of teachers, school counselors, and librarians. Tennessee Educator Fellows learn about education policy and research and how to advocate for the policies, practices, and systems that affect student achievement and educator effectiveness. They also serve as liaisons between their colleagues, their communities, policymakers, and advocates as Tennessee continues the work of improving educational outcomes for all students.
The structure of the Tennessee Educator Fellowship has been revised for 2020-21 due to COVID-19. Current educator fellows are serving in their roles through December 2021, and the TEF application will not open in early spring on the usual timeline. If you would like to receive updates on educator engagement opportunities with SCORE, please share your contact information. You may also contact Leigh Cooksey, director of educator engagement, with questions.
