Next week, we will announce the finalists for the SCORE Prize, which honors the Tennessee public schools and school districts that are leaders in student learning.

But how does a school or school district get to be a finalist? Our data-intensive process is explained in a new animated video created by Snapshot Interactive. Watch below to learn more about the work to select the SCORE Prize finalists.

On October 27, we will honor these finalists and announce the winners of the SCORE Prize, which awards $10,000 each to the elementary, middle, and high school winners and $25,000 to the school district winner. We hope you can join us at Laura Turner Concert Hall in the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville as we celebrate the educators, schools, and districts rising to the challenge of preparing all students for success after high school.

And don’t forget to keep an eye on this blog and our Facebook and Twitter accounts (#SCOREprize) to get the first word on who the finalists will be.
