In leading SCORE’s postsecondary innovations and strategic practice, Shelby relies on his experience in launching innovative, data-driven, and evidence-based approaches to close equity gaps in education relating to race, ethnicity, and socioeconomic status. Prior to joining SCORE in 2022, he served in the division of student success at Georgia State University. Shelby holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s in instructional leadership from Tennessee State University and a PhD in educational leadership and policy analysis in higher education from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
