Maryville High School boasts an impressive 76.5 percent college attendance rate, due largely to the work ethic of its students and teachers. The standards are not just raised for Maryville students, but also for Maryville teachers as well. Asking more of these students better prepares them for college and the real world. Instead of shying away from a challenge, the students rise to the occasion, creating an environment known for its excellence, which is why the school was a high school finalist for the 2011 SCORE Prize. On Monday, October 8, SCORE will award the second annual SCORE Prize at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. Please click here to reserve your free tickets to the event.

We hope that Maryville’s story of success will inspire you to continue in your own work to prepare students for success after high school. Please watch this video to hear about their best practices to improve student achievement in Maryville.
